ABOUT THE ARTIST
I’m a muti-disciplinary creative with my skillset covering graphic design, illustration and photography. My biggest artwork to date was a temporary public art mural that wrapped around the exterior three floors of the Dugdale Arts Centre in Enfield.
I have been commissioned for various public arts projects over the last few years. I love designing with bright colours with portraiture, typography and geometrics being among my favourite genres in design. As a digital artist, most of my works take shape on my tablet first. Highlights last year were a solo showcase of my personal art and speaking at a secondary school creative careers fair.
My creative background primarily lies in graphic design and I have over two decades of experience in creating advertising campaigns, corporate branding and marketing material.
From an early age, I always enjoyed drawing but didn’t realise this could be a career choice. I count myself extremely lucky that I do what I love. When I have some rare downtime, I pick up my tablet and doodle. I run my freelance business, Absolutely Kareen, from my home in lower Edmonton where I’ve been based for just over 20 years. I hold a BA Hons in Design and Media
